Fans can now secure their tickets for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, which will take place in India and Sri Lanka, at the most competitive prices ever offered for any ICC global event.
Tickets for all group stage matches in India and Sri Lanka can be accessed through a special four-day pre-sale window, commencing at 7pm IST on 4 September, using Google Pay via Tickets.cricketworldcup.com. The prices for these matches in India begin at just INR ₹100 (approximately USD $1.14) during the initial phase.
The pre-sale window for Google Pay follows last week’s announcement regarding the ICC’s ground-breaking global partnership with Google, which aims to improve fan engagement in women’s cricket.
After the exclusive ticket sales period for Google Pay customers, the second phase of ticket sales will commence at 8pm IST on Tuesday, 9 September. During this phase, all fans will have the opportunity to purchase tickets at Tickets.cricketworldcup.com.
In another significant announcement, the acclaimed Indian singer Shreya Ghoshal is set to perform at the Grand Opening Ceremony in Guwahati, prior to the tournament’s opening match between India and Sri Lanka on 30 September.
Ghoshal, who has lent her voice to the tournament’s yet-to-be-released official anthem “Bring it Home”, is set to perform live, accompanied by thematic visuals and on-site activations.
The forthcoming World Cup is anticipated to be a significant event, signifying the tournament’s return to India after a span of 12 years, during which eight teams will vie for an unprecedented prize money pool amounting to an astonishing USD $13.88M.
