The ICC has announced the commentary team for the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, and it will be led by some of the top women in the game.
Former World Cup winners Mel Jones, Isa Guha, Stacy-Ann King, and Julia Price will be the main voices. They will be joined by former captains Mithali Raj, Sana Mir, and Anjum Chopra.
Other well-known commentators like Katey Martin, Natasha Farrant, and Kass Naidoo are also part of the team.
Joining the commentary team are former World Cup winners Aaron Finch, Carlos Brathwaite, and Dinesh Karthik, along with famous voices like Nasser Hussain, Ian Bishop, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, Russell Arnold, and popular broadcasters Raunak Kapoor and Jatin Sapru.
All matches of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 will be shown live on ICC.tv, so fans everywhere can enjoy the action. The tournament starts on 30 September and will be played across five venues in India and Sri Lanka.
The coverage will feature a 30-minute pre-match show, expert analysis during the breaks, and complete post-match wrap-ups, giving viewers a top-quality experience throughout the event.
The production of the Women’s World Cup 2025 will be handled by JioStar, with NEP providing the technical equipment.
Along with live coverage, ICC.tv and JioStar will also create special vertical, mobile-friendly broadcasts for some matches.
The tournament will use Hawk-Eye’s Smart Replay system for DRS (Decision Review System) and also for advanced graphics that explain tactics and analysis.
WTVision will manage the scoring graphics, while Cricviz will add detailed cricket stats and insights. Quidich Innovation Labs will bring in player tracking and Field 360°, a virtual field model that shows how fielding positions change in real time.
