Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) invites proposals from reputed entities to acquire the rights and obligations to provide services that entail accreditation services, through a tender process.

 Accordingly to BCCI, BCCI issues the Request for Proposal for Accreditation Services (“RFP”) which provides the details terms and conditions governing the submission and evaluation of proposals. The RFP will be made available on receipt of payment of a non-refundable fee of INR 1,00,000 (Indian Rupees One Lakh Only) plus any applicable Goods and Services Tax. The Interested Parties may note the following timelines with respect to the RFP.

Interested parties are requested to email the details of payment made for the purchase of the RFP to rfp@bcci.tv, as per the procedure laid down in Annexure A. It is clarified that the RFP documents shall be shared only upon the confirmation of payment of the non-refundable RFP fee.

Any interested party wishing to submit a bid is required to purchase in RFP. However, only those satisfying the eligibility criteria set out in the RFP, as laid down in Annexure B, and subject to bid. It is clarified that merely purchasing the RFP does not entitle any person to bid.

BCCI reserves the right to cancel or amend the RFP process at any stage in any manner without providing any reason.

ANNEXURE B ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

General Eligibility:

For the purpose of the RFP, only corporate entities (excluding sole proprietorships and partnership firms) from anywhere in the world (which expression includes, as regards corporate entities, each Interested Party and/or its parent or subsidiary companies), which satisfy the following requirements as on the date of this RFP (or such other specific date as is specified in this RFP in relation to any individual criteria) are eligible to participate in this process and to submit Proposals. All Interested Parties shall note the following:

  • A proposal may only be submitted either by (i) the person/entity which has purchased a copy of this RFP upon payment of the RFP Fee; of (ii) any person/entity which is in the same Group as such person/entity.
  • The RFP Fee paid by the Interested Party (whether successful or unsuccessful) shall not be refunded or adjusted against any other payment obligation of the Interested Party in any circumstances.

Financial Eligibility:

The most recent audited annual turnover of each Interested Party wishing to submit a Proposal must have exceeded INR 10,00,00,000 (Indian Rupees Ten Crore only) if the Interested Party is incorporated in India or exceeded USD 116000 (United States Dollars One Million One Hundred Sixty Thousand only) or equivalent in relevant foreign currency (as per exchange rate as on date of submission of the Proposal) if the Interested Party and turnover from any company in the same Group as the Interested Party may be consolidated with or otherwise added to the Interested Party’s turnover for the purposes of satisfying this threshold.

Technical Eligibility:

  • The Interested Party is required to demonstrate with appropriate documents that they have extensive proven experience in providing accreditation services, for at least 3 years;
  • Sufficient staffing and trained personnel (including in particular, but without limitation, experienced management personnel) to provide the Services;
  • The Interested Party is required to demonstrate with appropriate documents that it has the capability to cover matches at multiple Stadia simultaneously.
