In a recent interview, Ronit Roy revealed some starting information regarding the consequences of Saif’s situation. He disclosed about that period, Kareena Kapoor experienced fear while making her way home, as her vehicle was surrounded by a throng. “Saif was coming back after being released from the hospital; consequently, there was a significant crowd and media presence everywhere. When Kareena was also returning home from the hospital, her car faced a minor assault. This caused her to feel frightened,” he stated in a recent interview.
Further elaborating on the situation, he noted that due to the substantial media presence, the general public also approached Kareena’s car too closely, resulting in it being “shaken a bit.”
Ronit also mentioned that during a preliminary security assessment of Saif’s residence, he observed deficiencies in the safety measures. He proposed several modifications, which were later adopted to improve security for the family.
The event occurred in the early hours of January 16, when an intruder gained access to Saif’s Bandra home through the bedroom of his youngest son, Jeh. Saif was attacked and stabbed multiple times while attempting to defend himself against the assailant. Two of the stab wounds were perilously close to his spine, necessitating the removal of a 2.5 inch knife from one of the injuries by medical professionals.
The assault has profoundly unsettled the family. In the wake of this incident, Kareena has appealed to the paparazzi to the paparazzi to cease following and photographing their children, Taimur and Jeh, in order to provide the family with the essential privacy they require.
