China Men’s Hockey Team Arrives for Hero Men’s Asia Cup Rajgir, Bihar 2025

The China Men’s Hockey Team has arrived in Bihar on Monday afternoon to participate in the esteemed Hero Men’s Asia Cup Rajgir, Bihar 2025, which is scheduled from 29th August to 7th September at the Rajgir Hockey Stadium.

China had secured Bronze medals at the Asia Cup in 1982 and 2009, but now is eager to advance further this time and alter the color of their medal. With a combination of discipline, strategic execution, and increasing confidence, the team approaches the tournament with a distinct goal- to compete against Asia’s finest and demonstrate their growing prominence in the realm of world hockey.

Currently positioned 23rd in the FIH World Rankings, China has been assigned to Pool A, where they will compete against the host nation India, Japan, and Kazakhstan. Their campaign will commence with a formidable match against India on 29th August, followed by a game against Kazakhstan on 31st August. In their concluding Pool match, China will face Japan on 1st September.
