The long-standing personal conflict between Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami and his estranged spouse, Hasin Jahar, has once more captured public attention, as new allegations and statements have ignited controversy.
The Calcutta High Court has mandated that Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami pays 4 lakh each month to his estranged spouse, Hasin Jahan, and their daughter.
According to sources, a bench led by Justice Ajoy Kunar Mukherjee issued a ruling on a petition submitted by Hasin Jahan, instructing the Indian cricketer to provide 1.5 lakh to his wife and 2.5 lakh to his daughter every month.
The court additionally observed that Shami is permitted to willingly provide support for educational or other costs that exceed what has been outlined for her daughter.
His Wife Jahan challenged the district sessions court’s order in Kolkata High Court. The sessions court directed Shami to pay 50,000/- to her wife and 80,000/- to her daughter in 2023.

Jahan shared screenshots of alleged WhatsApp conversations, asserting that Shami engaged in relationships with several women during his tours. Additionally, she lodged a police complaint aginst his citing multiple sections of the IPC, which include charges of attempted murder and criminal intimidation.
